This is my first work with stylized models, developed based on the fantastic concept of Cesar Vergara. Everything was modeled in zbrush, worked in maya and texturized in substance painter. We(iCUBE) are making a VR arcade game, which will tie into traffic safety. We decided to have certain games be playable, and the player would go up to that game and enter the game portal, like Tron. This is the scene for the Lion attack game, its featured in a low poly African savanna. This was really fun to create because we were told that we could go wild in designing these scenes as long as the client could be given updates periodically. Pinocchio! Such an amazing movie and storybook for children(and s!). In this Diorama-Pop Up project I took the courage to write a little story about the famous “Sea Monster” named Pepper. I changed a little bit of the original story, so please don’t be angry if the whale is a cute whale.I’m really feeling the 3D painting energy after this project. It was amazing to work with a Reference to build the lovable Pinocchio. Early this week I contacted by email Christian Cornia, a professional and amazing 2D illustrator, if I could use one of his Pinocchio exploration concepts. He greet me with joy and allowed me to use his concept as reference. Go check his work at Artstation! I hope you enjoy this little diorama and I’m craving to do more. I’m really looking to continue to learn texture painting. Any suggestions of courses or tutorials please put in the comments or PM, I’ll be grateful.
