And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. The Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) is a United States Air Force (USAF) sixth-generation fighter initiative with a goal of fielding a “family of systems” that is to eventually supersede the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor. A manned fighter aircraft is the centerpiece program of the initiative and has been referred to as the F-X or Penetrating Counter-Air (PCA) and is to be supported by unmanned “Loyal Wingman” platforms.
This is my concept of NGAD prime (1st concept) with manned fighter supported by AI piloted drone swarms. Rudder is deployed only for landing and low speed maneuvers. Smooth line and sharp edges lower radar echo and make this fighter stealth.
1 standing version with wheels and 2 flying versions with trails, afterburner, pilot and armament.
