This little devil is another result of a notebook doodle. Its definitely a habit of mine to interrupt a profile with an architectural or angular structure, usually on the head. It always just seems nicely jarring. I’m surprised its taken me this long to model a devil, as it is pretty much all I used to draw as a teenager having come across the gothic oddites of Jacques Callot, Abrecht Dürer and Hieronymous Bosch. And Doré, of course. His devils aren’t as pleasantly animalistic as the other guys’, but there’s something about the way that he congregates and arranges them in his prints that I haven’t seen done anywhere else. I’ve created this model in my spare time. It’s baked from high-poly model, sculpted in Zbrush and retopologised in Maya. This model contains out of 23640 triangles (21516 for moster model). Textures made in Substance Painter. The texture pack includes Base color, Roughness, Height and Normal maps.
You can download this model for free. It’s not rigged and it’s not in t-pose so it’s free. You can use this model for your project, or just to see how it’s made. You can’t use it for remake and reselling it as it is!
