The building you are inside of, the 5102, was an administrative centre for the county of Avon, straddling over the A38 and facing Bristol's infamous Bearpit. The Avon County was dissolved in 1996 and the office building repurposed into a large residential complex. From inspiration my wife drew, I wanted to take a sketch she did and build it in 3d.
I’ve always been drawn to environment and prop modeling and sculpting, so this was a great learning process. I cycled through modeling about 5 or 6 different tables before I finally settled on the ones seen here.

Not sure if this is animated or static, I was trying to go for a “looping Idle” sort of motion so you can really soak in the feeling of screaming across the desert in a podracer, rather than a specific segment of the story.
One major focus was getting this optimized to work on mobile VR, and I think I’ve done that reasonably well. Blaise Castle is a folly built in 1766 near Henbury in Bristol, England. The castle sits within the Blaise Castle Estate, which also includes Blaise Castle House, a Grade II listed 18th-century mansion house.
There is a volunteer community group http://www.friendsofblaise.co.uk/ who work with Bristol City Council to conserve, improve and promote the Estate and also open the castle up to visitors (though not a present time due to Coronavirus restrictions).

There are no full examples of the bristol tram left as they were all scrapped and burnt in the 1930s and early 40s.
Painstakingly modelled and textured from many old photos.
There were quite a few variations over the years but this represents a model that was quite common in the 1930s.
