Here is a sample of a studio's test I recently had. It aims at photorealistic 2k textures with a limited polygon count. I am fairly happy with the result and am thinking of more projects of such type. Modeling has been achieved through Maya and Zbrush, Texturing with Substance 3D Painter + Photoshop vectors for logos and texts; Rendering has been done with Marmoset Toolbag. in the last episode of the podcast Tip of the Tongue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsnxeSJF1qI) the audible shoes were invented. They are shoes with built in speakers and would play you an audiobook while walking in them.
So naturally during the last 5 days I made these things while repeatedly telling myself that “I gotta buy those audible shoes” and laughing like an idiot.
I quite like how they turned out. What do you think?
