Retro gaming in the 1980s. the Amstrad was one of the 8 bit machines of the era that paved the way for the consoles to come. Modelled in 3ds Max with a mid-poly bake down and then fully textured in Quixel Mixer 2020. I wanted to add a hint of life with some motion in the tape cassette and classic loading screen. This is an animation demo of my new low poly computer model. It was very fun to do !
At first I had some issues with the screen changing (interpolation between frames) but I found a trick: place the second screen on the first one, one frame before it disappear.
This trick didn’t unfortunately worked on the grid floor (you can see the interpolation in the middle of the animation).

There are three textures variatons for each mesh, in 2048px, 1024px or 512px, each in PBR (diffuse, roughness, metalness, normal map). For some textures, you can use the same maps and just change the diffuse one. Don’t forget to check the model without filters before buying.

The model could be used in real time application like VR, AR or games, the mesh was triangulate, too (if you want the model in quads, you can download the additional file).
