This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. Hi all ! Today I’m very happy to present you my first Persian Soldier Set :)
I’m thinking I will take this way for the futur, to upload complete sets instead of posting items one by one.
I will try to adapt my modelling to better match with Game Engine integration and efficient design too.
I’m not totally sure to do all details correctly, but if you have any suggestions don’t hesitate to put your tips and requests in comments. I’m off course interested :)
Last thing, the reason why I use statue as templates human is because I only want to sell equipment in this store, not Chara-design. I do my own chara-design for my usage, and I presume you prefer create your own too.
I include A and T-Pose here but as you can see, I didn’t take to much pain for Rigging (let’s consider I’ve done it quickly ^^)…
So here, the majority of objects textures are in 2K, and the main cloath is in 4K. The dress is into one single Shader, so It can spare some drawcalls inside Game Engine.
