A little hand painted diorama of an alchemist's house that I did. I wanted to create a stylised and quirky home tucked away in a cosy little forest. Had a lot of fun texturing this piece and learnt a lot during the process. The design of the house is based off a concept of my own. Modeled in Blender then textured in 3DCoat and Photoshop 3d model

Last week I found a cool tutorial series in art station so I decided to follow it. I mostly followed my own stylized asset path while modelling but at some points I followed tutorial. At this point I am not be able to say tutorial was good or bad because I watched only small part of it but in the overall it was looking good. A concept that occured to me real suddenly one day, that i could vaguely see in my mind and I fleshed out as I went along while trying to preserve spider, bird and harpy traits or something. Thats where “weaver” came from, to refer to the weaving of webs. But if I knew vfx and stuff alike i wouldve iuncluded some kind of web shooting animation. Also found out sometime aftwerwards that a weaver is also a real bird, but not too resembling in my opionion.
