Hello everyone, I made this model of a cute Unicorn Claw Machine following a design by the artist Julie Perez for the medieval back-and-forth challenge on Artstation. The polycount for the full model and the 4 little wooden horse is 47972. I don't know how you'd manage to spawn so many little unicorn wooden toys in a game, so the full polycount is way higher on my take. I bet you could just use particles or an equivalent to avoid the extra triangles. I also did that demonstration animation, to show how eveything could work but of course in a game that'd be done with programming not actual bones, haha. Sci fi gun concepted by me. I’ve always loved the shape design of a p90 so I wanted to create a sci-fi looking gun using the same shape language. My little sister also love unicorns so when she saw I was stumped on my design she gave the idea of unicorn gun. I decided to run with the idea so I started concepting in maya using booleans. After a couple of designs I decided to go with this one. I modeled the gun in maya and then textured it using substance painter and photoshop. I made this model as a request from a person for 3d printing. I was given full freedom on making style for this model. The design was made like this to be more suitable for printing. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.
