This is a sewing machine model, based on a 1958 Singer 401a model (though this was not meant to be an exact replica). It does not contain any modeling for the mechanical bits inside, because this model I have made as a nonmoving prop in a larger project I am currently working on. This is my most recent personal project to practice handpainted textures.
Creating this fan art from the show Arcane has been an amazing journey that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.
I really like the distinct style of the show and it was super fun trying to recreate it.
The process of making this piece has been very rewarding, and the challenges encountered along the way have only helped me to grow as an artist.
