It’s the spooky season once again, so of course the spooky models have to come out now! Have been watching a lot of movies to get me in the spirit. A lot of them seem to have that creepy house with one lit window, as if the person has one bulb they take from room to room, and can’t be bothered to get more. So I decided to make that! This huanted house is all decorated for the season which is as strange sight since nobody has lived there for years! Well, except for the spirites that reside.
Halloween is my favorite time of year but I’ve never made a haunted house before. It was a difficult project because I’ve never really made a house before let alone one as complex as a victorian manor

The decendents of the original owners rediscovered it in a draw and put it up for auction.The ivory was obtained in the 1840s, and , and laster carved in China around 1899-1900 during the Boxer Rebellion. The auctioneer noted
“This was a very enlightened family, and this would have been a very loving gift from a husband to wife. You can see that because the level of detail is incredible, down to the folds of the skin. There’s a heart carved at the base of it, where her finger would have been, and a receptacle in which she could keep a lock of his hair.”
