The Swallow's Nest (Ukrainian: Ластівчине гніздо, Lastivchyne Hnizdo, Russian: Ласточкино гнездо, Lastochkino gnezdo) is a decorative castle located at Gaspra, a small spa town between Yalta and Alupka, in the Crimean Peninsula. It was built between 1911 and 1912, on top of the 40-metre (130 ft) high Aurora Cliff, in a Neo-Gothic design by the Russian architect Leonid Sherwood for the Baltic German businessman Baron von Steingel. The castle overlooks the Cape of Ai-Todor on the Black Sea coast and is located near the remains of the Roman castrum of Charax. The Swallow's Nest is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Crimea, having become the symbol of Crimea's southern coastline. Small diorama scene made for a school assignment. The theme I chose was “Forest Loner”, and I thought it would be interesting to create a house that looked like it was made by hand from local materials.
I’ve always been curious about tileable textures, and decided to try my hand at creating a few to be used in the scene. I created a wood and metal trim texture which was used in the texturing of the shed, the house, the water tower and the electrical poles. I also made a texture sheet for the metal roofing and used it to also texture the small electrical conductors on the electrical poles.

My attempt to redesign “Gothic” 1 and 2 games magic runes. In the games they are essentially weapons that shoot various projectiles depending on school of magic and level or runes. The runes were enchanted from pure runes into lock’n’loaded in magical gyroscopes.
Here are big and small versions of both idle and activated (emission on/off) firebolt, ice wave and stormfist. Also a “pure” rune in the middle.
(pro tip: when out of mana hit dem bisches heads with the big ones)
