The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German World War II fighter aircraft that was, the backbone of the Luftwaffe's fighter force. It was one of the most advanced fighters when it first appeared, with an all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, and retractable landing gear. Redesign during 1939–40 gave birth to the F series. The Friedrich had new wings, cooling system and fuselage aerodynamics, with the 1,175 PS (864 kW; 1,159 hp) DB 601N (F-1, F-2). A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools.
The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. Not much else is known of the gun as the museum exhibit does not tell you much, no idea what the fire rate was or in what cartridge it was chambered in, my guess is that it’s in the ever popular 9x19 parabellum or “9mm” cartridge as the dimensions seem right to me 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 48635 polygons.
