Additionally, there's the detail of the helmet always being open in the front. Made for the RTR: Imperium Surrectum mod, for the game Rome Total War Remastered. Made in Blender - 716 vertices each The creative process is as follows: - a low poly model is made. - a copy from the low poly is made and made high poly, via a subdivision modifier and a multi-res (not applied), which brings the mesh to over 10 million vertices. This is to ensure detail precision. - Details are sculpted onto the high poly mesh - Detail work is baked from high to low poly mesh - Any colour work is done in texturepaint. Basic armor made for a side project, the armor is to be semi-modular, additional armor elements can be replaced with another of the same type of armor, for example: Shoulders, Bracers, greaves, a breastplate can be replaced with parts from another armor set of the same type . that’s why I decided to make several texture sets.
