岡山壽天宮（福德祠）吽形
日本愛知縣岡崎市自古以來即以石雕聞名。其中明治、大正年間，岡崎石工店家「酒孫兵衛」製作的狛犬式樣，經同行間不斷地流傳與再創造，進而融匯成晚近日本狛犬最普遍的風貌式樣，而有「岡崎型」分類的說法。
此對狛犬位於岡山壽天宮後方福德祠，為民國七十六年改建時購自花蓮，根據老照片比對，應為原址在今花蓮美崙山忠烈祠、於大正五年 (1916）鎮座的花蓮港神社舊物。其中阿形狛犬足踏繡球，吽形狛犬足搭子犬，圓額闊口，體態渾暢洗練，豎立的尾鬃亦一波三折、飄逸扭動，體現出「岡崎型」狛犬的造型特色。

Tang and Five Dynasties
Unearthed from the underground palace of Leifeng Pagoda in Hangzhou in 2001, it is 68 cm high. The Buddha statue has a high meat bun, spiral hair, slender eyebrows, ears hanging down the shoulders, and three silkworm patterns on the neck. Wearing a double-collared hanging cassock, the hem is covered with a lotus seat. Inside is a monk’s branch, and a silk belt is tied in front of the chest. The left hand caresses the knee, the right hand casts the Dharma seal, and sits on the lotus platform in knotted lotus. Under the lotus pedestal, there are Panlong columns, double-layer Xumizuo and square beds. The coiled dragon goes up around the column, holding up the lotus seat, and the column is embedded in the Xumi seat. There are two flame-style pot doors on each side of Xumizuo. 豐田神社大正四年（1915）鎮座，屬無格社，為豐田移民村的日人在臺灣安身立命的信仰倚靠。戰後神社被改建為碧莲寺，目前尚存鳥居、狛犬及石燈籠等遺跡。此對狛犬位於寺前，身驅刻有渦漩紋，台座處有「野口佐次郎 小松口太郎奉納 昭和二年十月二十五日」款。在造型上，匠師順著芯棒塑形，自後腦勺沿著背脊塑出一道優美的弧線，前端以筆直細長的前肢作為支應，未端則以豎立的尾鬃平衡了頭重腳輕的情況，在單純精簡中透出形的美感。如後肢不多作骨路肌肉的描寫，與服貼的鬃毛同匯融於渾暢簡潔的軀體；而前肢肘部僅以一横線劃分，即巧妙地打破視覺的單調冗長，卻又不至擾亂整體的協調，誠為一簡中寓繁的難得逸品。
