The presented item is a refracting telescope on a tall equatorial mount tripod. The tube is made of wood, the 8 cm diameter objective and the retractable eyepiece are fixed in brass rings at opposite ends of the tube. The spotting scope is attached to the declination axis, which ends in a spherical metal counterweight on the other side. The declination axis is movably attached to the hour-angle axis.
The telescope was of compact size and offered quick disassembly, making it a convenient portable instrument. It was brought to the Astronomical Observatory in Kraków in 1834 by Józef Łęski.

This is an M14 Battle rifle that has been converted to a prototype hybrid tech weapon. This was part of a series of weapons designed as part of a covert US military project that began in the mid 1960s. [REDACTED]. Project ATIW (Advanced Technologies Infantry Weapon). This particular prototype explored the idea of using chemical propellants and electromagnetism in tandem to fire the projectiles. The core of this weapon system operates mostly like a standard M14(without full automatic capability). Once the projectile is fired, a series of high powered electromagnetic coils further accelerates the projectile before it exits the barrel.
