Olavskirken i Bamble, også kalt Skeidis kirke ble oppført på 1100-tallet. Den er viet til St. Olav med innvielsesdag 4. oktober. Kirken var trolig en hovedkirke i Grenland. Den var den største av de kjente steinkirkene. Erstattet av ny kirke 1845.
Nesten samtlige steinkirker i Telemark ble oppført på 1100-tallet og flere kan dateres til 1180-årene. Akkurat som middelalderkirkene ellers i landet, ble kirkene i Telemark oppført i en periode vi kaller borgerkrigstiden (1130–1240). Kirkene er også ganske like. Ogrodzieniec Castle is a ruined medieval castle in the south-central region of Poland called Polish Jura. Originating in the 14th century the castle was rebuilt several times in its long history. It is situated on the top of 515.5-metre-high Castle Mountain (Polish: Góra Zamkowa), the highest hill of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. I wanted to make a new hellenic thing, but then realised that this may be original Roman design - at least I found no evidence of greek origins of the design. It’s still doric though!
