An ancient Egyptian figurine of a woman with bird-like features and ‘puncture’ decoration. Possibly dating to the Middle Kingdom or Second Intermediate Period, these figurines were previously thought to have fertility connotations, although modern scholarship is moving away from this interpretation. Whilst the exact function of these figurines is unclear, they may have had particular apotropaic and healing associations. Many of these figurines are found broken in a way that suggests ritual destruction.

This is a 3-D model of a stone figurine of an angel. The figurine is off-white in colour, roughly the size of 13.3cm by 15.7cm by 17.2cm. Some features it has are: curled hair, a pair of feathered wings and clothing covering parts of the bottom half of the body.
It has been a furniture in my home for more than 10 years. It signifies peace and love in the family, protecting and loving us. Angels have an interesting history and its feattures: feathered wings and human-like limbs/face depicts their connection between God and humans perfectly.
This model was produced using the software: Agisoft Photoscan Professional. Photographs were taken in a 360-degree view to process and produce the model.
