This is one of my first car models I built for a free independant racing game that allowed user generated content (racer.nl). It had a wonderful community that i do miss quite a bit. This was created before normal maps, high poly counts, and Substance Painter, but at least we had Photoshop… The Renault Alpine A110 is one of my favorite vintage automobiles of all time. I have only seen this car once in the flesh, and hope to again some day, it's so beautiful to me. I have debated rebuilding this model as a high poly asset many times so I dug it out to see how it holds up in Sketchfab all these years later. See what you think and maybe download it for fun. The Brake Caliper is NOT attached to the rest of the wheel which makes animating easy…after all this part does not spin with the wheel! (Please view the Animation mode....Take 01)
I have tried to keep the polygon count low so you only see what you would see if these were attached to a Car.........the tread and sidewall markings are bump mapped. Easy to use with your Car Model........Just duplicate this pair of wheels and you have 4.......all with correct direction.
Modelled in Blender 2.79......Textured in Substance Painter
Tested in both EEVEE & Cycles Render engines - 2.80/2.93
