I’ve done my best to make this as accurate as possible. I had to compare a whole lot of reference material. Not everything is known on the skull of Amurosaurus. So, for bones that were unknown I’ve reference other hadrosaurs such as Parasaurolophus, Kazaklambia, Corythosaurus, Hypacrosaurus, Canardia and also saurolophine hadrosaurs like Saurolophus and Edmontosaurus.
Even museum mounts often do not reconstruct bones like the pterygoids, palatines and vomers due to those bones being generally fragile and not fossilising that often. The skeleton is very basic, and may require new skinning or rigging to try to do any more ambitious movements- I modeled it in flight, I don’t know if the geometry will support it landing and walking without some bad clipping. 3D scan of a fossilized ammonite from the Lower Albian (Lower Cretaceous). The mother-of-pearl shell is still visible, which makes this piece special. This ammonite was found in Ambatolafia within the Mahajanga Basin in the northwest of Madagascar. Take a look at a 3D scan of a big block full of fossilized ammonites from the same location here.
