This model was created as a practice in painting low poly object by Blender (Grant Abbitt tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dykXT5WK3RM&list=PLn3ukorJv4vu4aF4bbDA9GeX_puW7sKdE&index=34&ab_channel=GrantAbbitt). However, while creating it, I decided to use Substance Painter to make this stylized copper/steel textures. Despite the use of different software, it is a low poly model with 1456 tris. I had the pleasure of attending Weston Reid’s CGMA class on Stylized Characters and learned a load. Especially how leveraging HP bakes and Painter passes can get the best start on a greyscale. After that was a color gradient pass in Painter and then a final paint over in 3DCoat.
