The Belarusian building is distinguished by the number of floors (18) and facade finishing. Among the people, the house received the nicknames “Glassful”, “Corn”, “Barrel”.
Due to the strange layout, there was a tale circulating around Leningrad that these buildings were masking missile silos hidden inside.
