This is Matilda, a stylized character I made for the “Stylized Character Challenge Course" at Game Art Institute (now Vertex School). I had the chance to create a complete character, starting from a concept, in one month following a clear and informative tutorial done by Yulia Sokolova and attending weekly feedback sessions with Ryan Kingslien. For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches.
