A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools.
The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. There are 2 hook and eye fastenings on the collar of the jacket with 5 metal buttons running down the right-hand side of the jacket. There are 2 pockets on either breast fastened with a plain button. On the top of either sleeve is a Cornwall badge in red, and directly brlow is a blue patch with a yellow dragon detailing. There is a slight spot of discoloration on the bottom of the breast pocket on the right- this almost looks like some sort of bleach stain. Inside the jacket is a label that reads “Battledress Blouses, Serge. Size no 6.” And the date stamp is June 1942.
