Vasa was a Swedish warship that capsized and sank off Beckholmen in Stockholm's inlet on its maiden voyage, August 10, 1628. After some early unsuccessful attempts to rescue her in the 17th century, Vaasa was largely forgotten. The ship's approximate position remained known until the middle of the 19th century, but no serious attempts were made to salvage it. In 1956, the amateur researcher and engineer Anders Franzén, together with the diver Per Edvin Fälting, succeeded in re-establishing Vaasa's exact position and after several years of marine archeological excavations and preparations, Vasa was lifted above the water surface on April 24, 1961. Since 1990 the ship is included in a permanent exhibition in Stockholm. Until 1988, the wreck was stored in Wasavarvet, a temporary building that, in addition to being a combined conservation room, was allowed to function as a temporary museum. This is work in progress. USS Bugara, a Balao-class submarine, was a ship of the United States Navy named for the bugara, a multicolored fish found along the coast of California.
The ship was decommissioned and struck from the Naval Register on 1 October 1970. While under tow near Cape Flattery, Washington, after an aborted attempt to use her as a target for USS Trigger, the Bugara was swamped and sank accidentally. The tug was at risk of being taken down with her, so she cut the steel hawser tow cable. No crew was aboard the sub when she sank.
Can be used perfectly as atmospheric back-and-foreground models for deep sea 3d environments. Works also very well with kitbashing techniques

Super telephoto photogrammetry of a wreck abandoned boat derelict. Pealing chipping off layers of paint. Lots of seaweed and seashells from the lagoon of Venice.
Unfortunately I could’t get full coverage because I coun’t get very close to the subject, maybe 20m the closest, I could’t get all the photos I wanted especially from the top. This was one of times I wish I had a drone (not sure if it’s even allowed to fly in that area anyway), so I tried my best with a 400mm lens handheld from any place I could walk around it.
I managed anyway to get comfortably 3x8K textures and normals in a relatively low poly model.
Maybe if I find the right conditions again (low tide and good light) I could try to reshoot this one, maybe from a boat… stay tuned for a possible reupload 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 99988 polygons.
