A gothic public water pump in the market town of Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. It was one of many installed in the 1860's, though this is the last one left. It no longer works, and is just a decorative piece of street furniture now. It stands about 7 feet tall. A reminder that 19th Century England was not the blacks and greys we often see in photographs, but often as colourful and bright as high streets are today. 243 images taken in January 2022 and processed in Metashape and Blender. A victorian era fruit plate from my victorian still life.
It was done in Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and 3D Coat.
To create the engravings on the plate, I modeled and rendered the shapes in Blender as a height map and used them as a brush in sculpt mode with radial symmetry in Blender and as an alpha with radial symmetry in Substance Painter.
