This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file. Sadly the resolution of the model is only useful for printing in small scales. My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your references. Therefore, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. This may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or to remove delicate details like wipers etc. Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer. Here’s the result of a project i’ve been working on over the last few months. the model is a re-interpretation of an imperial knight gallant from warhammer 40k. the main model was modelled and rigged in blender and textured in substance painter. The base was made using destruction simulations in Houndini out of a mesh made in blender.

A high-poly Zbrush model ready for 3d printing The model depicts a British cavalry officer during a cavalry charge in WW1. During the first world war cavalry tactics changed with an emphasis on dismounted firepower and covering fire from the flanks, using machine guns and attached artillery to support cavalry charges. The download for this model includes the textured fbx file displayed here and an stl file ready for 3d printing - see images below. The stl file is based on a high-poly version of the model decimated for printing. I have hollowed out the model and thickened some of the very thin parts to help with printing.

this model is fully rigged and comes with several blendshapes for eye, eyebrows and mouth movements, the model was colored by using a really small and simple 256x256 texture, the poly count being relatively low, i aimed for a very clean design while experimenting on new aesthetics for my models! most likely the texture could have been compressed to a 128x128 texture in hignsight, but the result was very nice regardless,
