Literally at the level of scratches. This is a used coin. There are scratches and oxidation on it. In order to view all the details, it was necessary to move the geometry information to a normal map. In photogrammetry there’s balance between large f-stop and shutter speed. I think the long shutter speed blew out the ends of the feathers. Well, that and they’re translucent....
Feathers are tough.
