Reupload, cause I added seagulls (very important) Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated. This is a model I designed of an old black and white lighthouse I created with an aluminum red roof. I created this using Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop. I love the ocean and this was my homage to the frontier of the sea. It is very detailed and took many hours to paint and model.
