Four models of old style Assyrian statues, well known as Lamassu and often protective deity of gates city or Palaces entrances in ancient Persia empire. They were essentially guardian spirit and were sometime represented as giant hybrid Lion and human figure, and sometime under an another form. I tried some diverse textured aspect here (all are in Pbr 4K)… With some contraint in sculpt, I had to make the details of the wings by textures tricks and not by sculpting in the mesh. This clown statue was created inside of Reality Capture using a little over 100 photos. I than cleaned up the model inside of Zbrush creating a low poly and high polly version. Created UV’s inside of Maya, before sending it to substance painter where I generated the texture maps. Touched up the normal and Albedo inside of photoshop. Finally uploading the final product here. Découverte de manière fortuite, cette statuette d’Hercule (Héraclès pour les Grecs) n’a malheureusement pas de provenance connue. Le pied droit en avant et le talon gauche soulevé indiquent que le personnage est représenté en mouvement. Il s’agirait d’une évocation d’un des épisodes les plus célèbres de la mythologie gréco-romaine : le quatrième des douze travaux d’Hercule. Après avoir capturé vivant le terrifiant sanglier d’Érymanthe sur l’ordre du roi Eurysthée, le demi-dieu armé de sa massue ramène à la cour l’animal sauvage vaincu comme preuve de sa victoire en portant sa lourde charge sur son dos.
