Eastham Bridge - Collapsed but not lost! …the dramatic collapse and then clearance of an historic bridge in Worcestershire was the end to its history. But a UAV Photogrammetric survey preserved the detail befor a new bridge was built. The work was commissioned by Worcestershire County Council and the resulting data used by the structuaral engineers and contractors. For viewing the 3D model use a mouse with a wheel to zoom, left click and hold to rotate and right click to move. Try rotating the model in full screen mode and switch rendering option to Matcap or wireframe (bottom right). WWII Radar Station, Ward Hill, Fair Isle 3D Model.

A WWII radar station on Ward Hill, Fair Isle, it was a Coast Defence U-boat (C.D.U.) station which was the naval version of the R.A.F.’s Chain Home Low (C.H.L.) radar. Radar was used here to track shipping and surfaced submarines and at longer distances aircraft. Something that makes this site unusual is that parts of the antennas and their turntables still survive here. After the war the site was partially dismantled then some buildings/structures blown up with explosives. Damage to the floors indicate where some of the charges were set.
Fair Isle is situated about half way between the Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles off the north coast of Scotland.

Thai statue of a male warrior with a bow and quiver. The Sandstone material makes this statue light and relatively fragile.
Equipment used: Canon 600D (used around 175 photos in a phototent+turntable setup with continuous dual softbox lighting).
Software used: Agisoft Photoscan, RAW photo editor, Blender,Instant Meshes and Substance Painter.
Mesh:
The Original Scan had around 22M faces/triangles and was decimated to around 4.5M before baking a normal map from it.
The Lowpoly has 20K triangles.
Texture: the texture in the preview is an 8K texture, i’ve also made a 2k and 4k texture.
If you want a good view of the scan’s quality, check the ‘Matcap+Surface’ option in the model inspector.
Remember you can adjust the lighting by holding ALT + Left mouse button.

Built by local stone using thick load baring walls 1 m width with different ceilings type like a cross vault, catenary vaults, domes on four squinches & Shallow domes, as well as trying to add a local architecture vocabulary from our regain ( arch details, patterns, Muqarnas....) our target to set this project as a good sample of traditional construction method and help others to start similar projects
