Here is a Bronze Shield I made as part of my Masters Degree for a quick idea generation module. I took inspiration from both roman shields and vikings to come up with the design. I created this soccerball durng a photogrammetry workshop at school.
We used RealityCapture to create the mesh then used Houdini for retopology. In the end I used Xnormal for baking and I re-textured the model in Substance Painter.
