Hi everyone, this is my fanart of Hoshino Ai from Oshi no ko. I made this model to celebrate the anime’s premieres on 12th April 2023.
Something about Ai attracts me, maybe she’s very cheerful, that’s why. Ai is a 16 years old idol and I shall not spoil the story by revealing too much. You guys just have to read the manga or watch the anime to find out.
Hope you guys like this fanart as much as I do. I want to stand outside my comfort zone by modelling the environment together with the character. I made this model as a request from a person for 3d printing. I was given full freedom on making style for this model. The design was made like this to be more suitable for printing. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.
