Hello! This is my submission for the first assignment of Stylized Creation for Howest DAE. We were assigned to create a simple game ready character. The sculpt was made in Zbrush, low poly retopo in Maya, baking in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. In this assignment i tried to push myself to the limit on the complexity of the character for the time limit of 5 weeks we had so as to improve my skillset. This is the final version of my first 3D assignment for Howest DAE.
I had a lot of fun working on it, especially the texturing, as we were now allowed to use anything like substance painter, marmoset etc. Everything had to either be done in photoshop or maya and we could pretty much only use an albedo and some transparency. It was a challange to get the textures looking good without any roughness or normals, but I think I learned a lot from it.
