Scanned today in Dallas, TX. Used a butt-ton of images, processed using RealityCapture and simple geometry cleanup in Blender. I’m really aggrivated that the texture seams are so obvious and jarring, I assume that has to do with sketchfab downsampling the original, maybe? I’m not going to redo the UV’s. An unusual installation of tombstones, made overnight in front of the entrance to the museum in Ústí nad Labem, heralds the opening of the permanent exhibition “Our Germans”. According to historian Martin Krsek, the aim of the installation is to draw attention to the problematic fate of abandoned German graves in the Czech border region. In past, the tombstones often ended up as building materials or were forgotten on a rubble heaps.
