So I'm trying to switch from 3DSmax, and this is my first Maya model, made fully from scratch from within Maya!!! I wanted to take a shot at modeling both hands and feet from scratch as well, to explain why he's in pajamas. Bust of a kid based on Luigi Lucarelli’s Illustration, i really liked the “Adventurer” vive of the illustration, i think this is what drove to sculpt the bust.
I created this piece as a practice for translating a 2D illustration into a 3D model usable for production, while trying to reamin loyal to the concept i made some adjustments and put a little bit of my input on the character
