Where FX Artist Greg Jien built an accurate to the original, but slightly more detailed version of the classic K-7 studio model. I wanted to replicate that version of the studio model as close as possible. Within a “reasonable” RTS gaming poly budget.
She also has the same sign in her hangar bay as the studio model that says “WELCOME TO K-7. NOW GO HOME!” In the other closed hangar bay there is a sign that reads “Romulan Ale Sold Here!”

The 3D reconstruction was made by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors.
