The Buddha statue has a high meat bun, spiral hair, slender eyebrows, ears hanging down the shoulders, and three silkworm patterns on the neck. Wearing a double-collared hanging cassock, the hem is covered with a lotus seat. Inside is a monk’s branch, and a silk belt is tied in front of the chest. The left hand caresses the knee, the right hand casts the Dharma seal, and sits on the lotus platform in knotted lotus. Under the lotus pedestal, there are Panlong columns, double-layer Xumizuo and square beds. The coiled dragon goes up around the column, holding up the lotus seat, and the column is embedded in the Xumi seat. There are two flame-style pot doors on each side of Xumizuo. Two Komainu #3 (Guardian Lions) from Shinto Shrine
A pair of stone lion-dogs often flank the sandō near the entrance to the shrine or the haiden. These komainu, as the statues are known, are guardian figures believed to protect the space around the kami from evil.
The ultimate origins of these lionlike figures probably extend back to ancient India or even Egypt, but the more immediate source would appear to be Chinese. Guardian lions and other divine beasts were probably imported from Tang China, along with Buddhism, via the Korean Peninsula, accounting for their alternate name, kōrai-inu, or Korean dogs.
Most komainu closely resemble the so-called Chinese lion-dog. Typically, one of the creatures is depicted with its mouth open and the other with its mouth closed. The road which connects Fukushima city, Fukushima prefecture to Yonezawa city, Yamagata prefecture was opened in 1881(明治14年) and named after “Banseitairo Road” by the Emperor Meiji.Futatsugoya Tunnel is one of the two tunnels which are located in Banseitairo Road. It was taken expansion work to motor vehicles can go through in 1934(昭和9年). In 1966(昭和41年), an another tunnel was opened at new place to they can go through if it has heavy snow and Banseitairo Road became the “Abandoned road” after finished its role.

Abukuma cave was discovered while mining for limestones from the current Kamayama quarry in September 1969.
In 1973 the inner cavern was developed for tourism then was open to the general public.
The route for sightseeing is 600 m. Together with the route closed to the public, it has a total length of 3,300 m.
Though that number may change due to investigations in the future.
Abukuma cave is presumed to have its limestones crystallized approximately 80 million years ago (the latter cretaceous period).
