The average granite composition consists of roughly: ~40% Potassium Feldspar (Typically Microcline) ~ 20% Plagioclase Feldspar ~20% Quartz ~5% Biotite ~5% Hornblende (with the abundance of Potassium feldspar and quartz decreasing, and the abudnance of Plagioclase, Hornblende and biotite increasing as the composition changes from FELSIC towards Intermediate). This particular specimen is classified as a Syenogranite. I’ve done a ton of researching and studying, and I’ve found a style that seems to really work when creating 3d ghibli-style scenes using Substance Painter. These techniques can be applied to basically any project. I’m really looking forward to improving the process later on this month. These assets were generated from scans of beach pebbles and stones I picked up on the shore between Plouguerneau and Roscoff, in France. I did not specifically select extraordinary samples, but rather tried to go for a broad diversity of colors and shapes in order to create an interesting pack.
Each prop in this bundle comes with .fbx, .obj and .dae formats, and is available in 5 different resolutions:
LOD0: 15k tris - 4096x4096 textures (albedo and normal maps)
