The main intention behind this gun was to make it look old, rugged and intimidating, combining these to give an old-school feel. The mechanism of this gun is similar to a modern minigun, the body holds the magazine on hooks which makes reloading a slow task. The style of holding the gun is tacky due to that it makes the gun a bit unstable for the user giving it a hard recoil momentum and an old-school feeling. The gun has two gauge meters one indicating the temperature and another one showing the amount of remaining bullets in the magazine. I wanted to try a colour scheme different from the basic steampunk colours (Golden/Brown), to make it look different from other weapons. Steam-punk is one my favorite theme. It can be mixed with others like scifi or fantasy. And in my humble opinion, it is one of the most classy design.
So back to the planet theme again,this time with a steam-punk Earth ! The oceans are now made of gears. The earth is now made of gold and metals.
Once again, the PBR material was capital in making the material effects.
