Illinska church in Subbotiv village (Cherkasy region, Ukraine). Has been build by order of Hetmen Bogdan Khmelnytsky in 1653 (or 1656). One-nave church in the style of early Ukrainian Baroque have clear defensive features. It became the presumable tomb of Khmelnytsky; however, the Hetman's burial has not yet been discovered. The medieval chess pieces from the Scottish island of Lewis are among our most popular collections. They give us fascinating insights into the international connections of western Scotland and the growing popularity of chess in medieval Europe.
The eleven chess pieces on display in the Museum of Scotland were part of a large hoard buried on Lewis. The hoard contained 93 gaming pieces in total, including at least four chess sets as well as pieces from other games. The chess pieces were probably made in the late 12th or early 13th century in Norway.

First object to test out my new macro lens for the NX30. Does solid work, but i think there´s much room to improve. The leafes were particularly difficult to scan and required much subsequent sculpting.
If anyone got suggestion on how to improve in marco photogrammetry or tips about workflows and setups.. throw them out. Happy for any informations :)
