This pillow was built to work in engine as part of my final year of university. It was made to be a part of a bedroom that has been shifted around and used as a serial killer's killing room. The high poly bake was created by smoothing the mesh in Maya and then taking that into Zbrush to create further creases and folds in the pillow. This was a bit of a risky scan. I was worried about issues cropping up due to any change in the folds of the pillow when rotating or repositioning it. Thankfully this is a fairly stiff pillow and I was able to successfully get all sides in a single scan.
There is a red banding issue on the back that does not exist on the pillow. I’m assuming this was caused by the texture generation process.
