This is Komaru Naegi’s “Megaphone Hacking Gun” from Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. I’ve been enjoying the game so I decided to whip this up. I mostly used screen shots from my Vita for reference photos, because of that I really wasn’t able to get a clear view of the icons on the top of the gun or the actual grip of the gun. I’ve made a good amount of gun grips before so it wasn’t an issue trying to sculpt the spline around how Komaru holds the gun. Here’s the result of a project i’ve been working on over the last few months. the model is a re-interpretation of an imperial knight gallant from warhammer 40k. the main model was modelled and rigged in blender and textured in substance painter. The base was made using destruction simulations in Houndini out of a mesh made in blender.

Pre-Columbian Maya bat god sculpture curated in the Museo Popol Vuh in Guatemala City- Catalogue no. 2005-0032.
