• BLU-109: Instead of the MK 84.The BLU-109/B is a hardened penetration bomb with 2000 lb nominal weight.
it is intended to smash through concrete shelters and other hardened structures before exploding
There are four variants:
• GBU-31 (V) 1/B MK 84 Bomb body
• GBU-31 (V) 2/B MK 84 Bomb body with Navy thermal coating
• GBU-31 (V) 3/B BLU-109 Bomb body
• GBU-31 (V) 4/B BLU-109 Bomb body with Navy thermal coating
• About the Models: Modeling was done in Autocad and imported into 3ds max
The model was built using information, photos and images from internet, therefore its geometry and details are not engineering correct or exact.
