This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. A motorcycle of the Warhammer 40k Universe. This one is painted with the colors and emblems of the “White Scars” Space Marine Chapter. The White Scars are known for their “need for speed”, and were one of the legions that was defending the Imperial Capital in the siege of Terra during the Horus Heresy.
Since it’s based on a toy model, it didn’t have much details on some parts… So i look for some references and modeled some things “a bit” different: the tires, the steering handles, the dashboard, the seat and an actual motorcycle engine (with some modifications to fit it into the model dimentions, nothing too fancy though).
As everyone should know by now, the space marines, white scars, warhammer 40k universe images and emblems are the property of Games Workshop.
I was thinking of modeling also a Space Marine to pilot the thing but that is another work (i’m doing it right now).
