This shall be a portal to hell, which was my first 3D Artwork. The Stones with the illuminating signs shall represent the seven mortal sins: Wrath, jealousy, pride, lust, greed, sloth and gluttony. I tried to get specific signs for each sin in the topology of the stones, which was rather bad. Now its clear I should have textured these signs on the rocks. That would have been much easier and the result has been better. In the inner space of the portal are tentacles, one for each sin. Recently I took an opportunity to redo a couple of our older starfighter assets in Sins of the Prophets, starting with our Longsword fighters of the UNSC faction. This particular model is of the smaller Longsword variant known as the “C-712”, serving as an interceptor in game.

This is my own recreation of the 454 Casull from Hellsing! The form overall is fairly simple, but I had some difficulty with this mostly from the dificulty in finding consistent references, even with official art from both the OVA and original series of Hellsing and snipits from the Manga, this gun has a lot of subtle inconsistencies. One such inconsistency is the squareness of the slide. I had seen official art where the slide takes on a shape more similar to a 1911 pistol, but in other art and in the OVA, the slide appears more square and in some cases even appears to have plates on the side and top. So some details I tried going for a middle ground of the differences I had come across.
Fairly happy with how this came out, I feel it’s fairly accurate, or at least as accurate as I can get considering the inconsistent source materials lol
