The An-2 is a light multi-purpose single-engine biplane transport aircraft designed by the Soviet Antonov Design Bureau in 1946. It has smooth flight and reliable structure. Its production period of nearly 45 years was once a Guinness World Record. China successfully copied it in 1957 and named it Y-5.
