Decided to go wayyy out of my comfort zone with a fully handpainted model… and I'm pretty happy with it! The process took me much longer than expected, too, but better late then never hah. I was obviously inspired by Zelda, so I wanted to make it a small contribution to that as well. And it was a good wood painting exercise! Credits to rommalart for the model and Jasmin for the retopo! My submission to the sports car texturing challenge. I didn’t have much time to work on it around other more important art projects and life obligations. I figured it would still be good to upload what I could get done at least. Originally I was going to do a classic Gulf paint scheme but some friends had the fun idea of doing a Duff beer theme instead. I did all the texture in Substance Painter with some editing in Photoshop for the textures I downloaded.
