Cooperation with our friends at G-3D-PrintThe front cover of the jetski was scanned using Artec Leo in 15 minutes (including chalc sraying, markers, etc.) and the post-process workflow took about 60 minutes in Artec Studio. The jetski belongs to the world champion György Kasza and his team. The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh. In the rounded top panel sits St. Olav enthroned. with a halo, crown, his long handed axe in his right and and the earth/orb in his left.
The small escutcheon above where the olique desk top would have been is the faroes coat of arms of the ram.

This helmet has a rounded cap, and there is evidence that it also may have had a mail aventail.
