This rifle is the last weapon of my steampunk series and holds a dominant position in the project. Making the AK was a big challenge as it was tough to keep the look similar to the original gun and also get the steampunk feel overall, the best I could think of doing without altering the look, was to add extra attachments that give it a steampunk look and feel and using a warm colour palette with wear and tear effect on the body, clippers an exception, its brand new, lol!! Although it was a task to achieve the end product, I enjoyed the whole process as its one of my big time favourite assault rifle.

This is part of my still frame enviroment for a University project from Jurassic Park that also includes the Rex. My friend Victor Spinelli has a famous photograph called diver up. We have been planning to recreate this photo as a sculpture for Burning Man, and in preparation for this, we invited a model to help recreate the scene using 3D scanning technology.
I scanned her several times, using both Photogrammetry & the Structure Sensor combined with Itseez 3D scanning software. We ended up using the Structure scan because the quality was a bit better.
We will repeat the process with several models to compile them into the ideal scan & then begin the process of converting the mesh into a structure made either out of metal or wood.
